Let's see what the much-heard term "travertine" means, which you must have come across when looking at sandstone or stone slabs for your planned home renovation.
The use of natural stone enables the connection of the eternal and the modern, bringing freshness, sobriety and elegance in equal measure. The wonderful properties of some types of stone make them ideal for interior design and use in bathrooms, kitchens, worktops and showers. Another type of stone can give a lasting appearance in outdoor use with various textures, which can be further enhanced with many surface treatments, be it polished, polished or even antiqued. Its appearance in any area fits perfectly with the nature of the stone. These products were chosen by renowned architects and interior designers when “dressing up” luxury hotels and large villas.

Depending on the type of cut, travertine looks different. The vertical section of the quarried block creates a nearly parallel veining. The horizontal section of the block produces a cloudy pattern.
Travertine retains its natural appearance with open pores. The stone can also be sealed with a similar coloured sealant or with a transparent sealant to create a flat, solid surface.
It is a natural stone with classic beauty and versatility. It can be used both indoors and outdoors. Travertine is suitable for bathrooms and kitchen worktops, interior large-surface walls, interior and exterior floors, and facades.
